FAQs

Tango Melody

1. The clock is not in correct time.

Turn the Bluetooth on from your smart device and open Tango GO+ application. In case you haven't paired your wristband with the application before, choose "TW100 Tango Melody" from the device list. Correct time will appear to the display once connected with the smart device. If you have paired the device earlier, wait until the wristband connects automatically and updates the clock time.

2. Tango Melody doesn't count my steps as I start to walk.

Steps are registered once you have taken 10 consecutive steps. This feature is for ensuring that only real steps are counted, not random movements and vibrations etc.

3. Can I wear my Tango Melody while swimming?

The wristband's water resistance level is IP67. It means that using the wristband is safe in all weather conditions. However we don't recommend usage in shower (especially hot shower), sauna or while swimming.

4. The wristband doesn't receive notifications from my phone.

Open Tango GO+ application and ensure from "Device" page that notification settings are correctly. Note also that the Bluetooth connection works better the closer wristband and smart device are to each other. In normal usage (phone in pocket or bag and wristband in wrist) the connection should be working well.

5. Why didn't Tango Melody measure my sleep quality?

The wristband recognizes automatically when you go to sleep. However it is counted as sleeping after at least 4 hours of consecutive sleep, without significant movement. So if you are sleeping for examply in periods of 2 hours and get up from bed every now and then, it may not be counted as sleeping time.

This algorithm is developed in order to avoid false sleep recognitions for example while working in office where the wrist may be in similar position as while sleeping, for many hours.

6. I'm not allowed to wear wristband at my work, how to measure my activity?

Tango Melody counts your steps, calories etc. when you keep it in your pocket or bag as well.

7. Is there any nickel in Tango Melody?

The buckle part of the wristband contains a very small amount of nickel. We believe that for most people it is totally safe in normal use. The parts of Tango products are manufactured in accordance with European legislation.

8. How are the calories calculated?

In Tango Melody, calculation of calories consumption is based on user weight and activity. BMR (basal metabolic rate) is not calculated.
